Sharp IR Distance Sensor - GP2Y0A41SK0F

£ 6.99

Here we have the Sharp GP2Y0A41SK0F infrared distance measuring sensor. This little unit uses a beam of infrared light to reflect off an object to measure its distance.

Because it uses beam triangulation to calculate distance, it is able to provide consistent and reliable readings which are less sensitive to temperature variation or the object’s reflectivity.

The sensor outputs an analog voltage corresponding to the distance of the object, easily read by an Arduino, PIC, PI, or any other ADC chip.

  • Communication: Analog output voltage (typically 0.4 to 2.3 V range)
  • Dimensions: 4.45 x 1.89 x 1.35 cm
  • Operating temp range: -10 to +60 °C
  • Minimum Measuring Distance = 4cm
  • Maximum Measuring Distance = 30cm
  • Analog output inversely proportional to distance
  • Operating Supply Voltage = 4.5V to 5.5V
  • Average Supply Current – Typical = 30mA
  • Response Time = 38 ± 10ms
  • 1 x Sharp GP2Y0A41SK0F Sensor
  • 1 x Sensor cable
